How quickly will my carpets dry?

The drying time of your carpet will be dependent on several factors including level of soiling, fibre type, amount of furniture and the size of the room as well as ambient temperature and ventilation. As a result an accurate drying time for every instance cannot be given but in general, we aim to leave your property with carpets nearly dry using powerful air movers where necessary and by extracting as much of the water as possible during the cleaning process.

However, because some types of carpet and the fibres they contain retain more water than others they can take slightly longer. This is more usual in natural fibres than the more commonly used synthetic fibres.

In most case carpets should  be dry within 1-2 hours.

How often should you clean?

Most carpet manufacturers recommend carpets are deep cleaned at least annually to prolong their life and many specify this in order to maintain any warranty they provide.

Of course, how much and how often will be dictated by many factors. A small spare bedroom carpet will have considerably less foot traffic than a busy hallway, so the amount of soiling will vary from room to room and home to home.
